Welcome to The Yorkshire Retriever Field Trial Society. 

 

The Society was established in 1912 with the aim to improve the working qualities of the Retriever and to encourage Game Keepers in Yorkshire in the working and handling of dogs in the field.

 

For this purpose working trials were to be held annually under Kennel Club rules.

Today we hold 4 annual stakes from Novice to Open including a qualifying stake for the annual retriever championship.
